Lake Livingston was built, owned and operated, by the Trinity River Authority of Texas. Lake Livingston is the 2nd largest lake located within Texas. It is 39 miles long, and at its widest point, it is 7 miles. The average depth of the lake is 23 feet with a maximum depth of 90 feet. It covers 93,000 acres.
